Scholarships
In order to allow all the students in our community to take part in the after-school program, the PTA offers a limited amount of scholarships to families in need.
If you would like to submit a scholarship request or would like to receive more information please reach out prior to September 20th to your child's teacher, or to the MES social worker or to the MES PTA After-School program lead.
Please note that this information will be kept highly confidential.
Volunteers: The management of the after-school program is done solely by MES PTA volunteers. In order to continue this program we need after-school program volunteers for each class. It requires up to 15 minutes, once a week, between school pick up time and the start of the after-school class to ensure a smooth transition of the students to the after-school class.
Volunteers will receive a guaranteed spot for their child in one class, the day they volunteer. If you are interested, reach out to the after-school program lead Evita via afterschool@magnoliaschoolpta.org. If we are unable to get enough volunteers this fall, we will have to significantly reduce the amount of after-school classes offered in the Winter trimester.
For more information about our After-School Program, Volunteering, and Scholarships, please reach out to Evita the MES PTA after-school lead BEFORE registration starts September 21st: afterschool@magnoliaschoolpta.org
*The information is subject to change due to unexpected circumstances.
To register, we use an online registration tool called 6Crickets. You will be able to register and book all of your classes through this website. It is highly recommended that you create an account and register your child before registration officially opens.
Use the Parent’s Guide if you need help registering for 6Crickets. Under My Account, click on Edit Profile. Here you can enter your credit card information and opt out of email subscriptions if you wish (otherwise you will start receiving 6Crickets emails and newsletters).

Creative Coding offer their classes as virtual after school coding classes.
Class Description - Creative Coding online uses your child’s own creativity to make learning coding fun, as they write their own, unique computer game. Your child’s own ideas are more interesting and motivating to them than any “class assignment”. Our caring, supportive teachers use positiv reinforcement and proven, project-based learning to help your child succeed at their own pace. Social interaction between kids is half the fun, as they share and play each other’s games in a supportive, welcoming environment.
