Please reach out to our MES PTA volunteer co-ordinator volunteer@magnoliaschoolpta.org.
Volunteers are a critical element to the success of Magnolia Elementary School, our students and our community.
Their work provides support to MES teachers and staff in their mission to giving our children the best education possible.
Your help makes this possible and is highly appreciated!
We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities that can answer your willingness to contribute while taking into consideration all of the other commitments in your life. In each volunteering option you can find the date, required time from you and a brief description of the role.
If you’d like to be a volunteer at Magnolia Elementary School, you must become a Seattle Public School (SPS) verified volunteer.
Here are the steps you should follow to get approval or confirm your approval:
*Notes: This process may take a few weeks to complete and is good for 2 years.
Once you sign-up, our Volunteer Manager from the PTA will be in contact with you. ***Please add the emails volunteer@magnoliaschoolpta.org to your email contacts to ensure that you get our email communications.
Please reach us at volunteer@magnolischoolpta.org if you cannot find an answer to your question. Be sure to add this email to your email contacts to ensure that you receive our communications.
The best way to contact us is through email: volunteer@magnolischoolpta.org
You can also, give your name and contact information to anyone on the PTA at any time and your information will given to the appropriate person. You can also drop off a letter to the PTA at the front office and they will put it in our PTA mailbox.
*Please add the email volunteer@magnoliaschoolpta.org to your contact list. This will help us with responding to you as we have found that our emails sometimes get stuck in email filters.
If you answer yes to any of these questions, you’ll need to get a national background check from Sterling Volunteers in Good Samaritan.
If you answered no to these questions, the school will run a background check using the information you’ve already provided and then review your application.
